Spotlight PicturesThis spotlight is on Alaska's wonders. I hope you didn't miss the Canadian Rocky pictures. This is a sunset picture taken over Cooks inlet in Anchorage. The mountain to the right is Mount Susitna and to the left you see the Alaskan range of mountains. All of these are pictures from the Denali Highway, 1) Here you see the beginning of the fall colors; 2) These are called Kettle lakes and because of the snow and glaciers these are common; 3) One of the over 10 rainbows we were blessed with on that weekend. Beautiful sunsets. 1) That is Mt. McKinley to the right, over 200 miles away; 2) Here you see Mt. Susitna or the sleeping lady as she's commonly called; 3) and lastly the Alaskan range. 1) Sea lions; 2) A moose on our way to Homer, she only looked up because we slowed down; 3) Mt. McKinley from Joe's campsite on the moose hunting weekend. To see more pictures of Alaska, click here to go the log. Return to the main Spotlight Pictures page. |
