This spotlight pictures page highlights three of America's beautiful National Parks and Recreation Areas; Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and Flaming Gorge National Recreational Area.

Yellowstone National Park

These pictures show the many faces of Yellowstone.  

1) Old Faithful; 2) Heart spring; 3) A spring of boiling water.  These three pictures show just a few of the many types of geysers and hot springs at Yellowstone.

1 and 2) These formations are named Canary Springs; 3) This is right outside Mammoth, in the top North West corner of the park. 4) This is called Upper Falls.  Much of the park is wooded with many falls and a beautiful lake.

Grand Teton National Park

These pictures are all of the mountains in Grand Teton National Park.  They are spectacular.  The third picture shows Jenny Lake.

Flaming Gorge National Recreational Area

The is Red Canyon in the bottom part of Flaming Gorge National Recreational Area.
