Introduction note: I(Joe) went on this weeklong ride with Brian Ellerbeck and Boyd McKinney of Green River, WY and Brad Munroe of Park City, UT. Brian used his timeshare points to put us up in nice digs for the entire ride. We met up and rode to Sun Valley/Ketchum, ID the first day. We got up early and went over Galena Pass and along the Sawtooth mountains the next morning. We were met with rain approaching Salmon, ID and suffered through nearly 300 miles of rain before reaching Couer D'Alene, ID. We spent three nights there before heading south for a couple nights in the resort town of McCall, ID. Our final night was at Bear Lake, ID. It was a great ride that was occasionally interrupted by some serious (and I mean SERIOUS) rain.
