Introduction note: My close friend Dave Martin from Park City, UT joined me for a backpacking trip in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. Our destination was Cirque of the Towers, a natural horseshoe of grand peaks along the Continental Divide. This was my third 4th of July trip to the Winds in three years. It was by far the driest and warmest, which meant horrible mosqitoes. Otherwise, you can tell from the photos that the views were spectacular.
